Let\u2019s Talk in English (“LTiE”, “we”) is a free English conversation community based in Sydney, Australia. We keep things simple, and that includes how we handle your information.
What we collect
RSVP first names. If you tap “I\u2019m going” and enter a first name, we store that name and show it publicly on this website next to the session you chose. Please use only your first name. We do not collect your email, phone number, or account details for RSVPs.
Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (WordPress.com by Automattic) records standard technical information such as visits, pages viewed, browser type and country, and uses cookies for site statistics. See Automattic\u2019s privacy policy for details.
Photos and testimonials. We only publish a member\u2019s photo, name, or quote with their permission.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never share RSVP names with anyone \u2014 they simply appear on this site. We never ask for payment details on this website at this time.
Zoom and WhatsApp
Our sessions run on Zoom, and contacting Paul uses WhatsApp. When you use those services, their own privacy policies apply. Zoom sessions may occasionally be recorded for community highlights \u2014 if a session is being recorded, the host will say so at the start, and you are welcome to keep your camera off.
Your choices
Want your RSVP name, photo, or testimonial removed? Message Paul on WhatsApp (+61 410 000 075) and we will remove it promptly.
Children
Our events are intended for adults. If you are under 18, please join only with a parent or guardian\u2019s knowledge.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
